Albany, NY

Welcome to Albany, New York’s historic Capital City on the banks of the Hudson River. We’ll enjoy a narrated sightseeing cruise aboard The Dutch Apple II on the scenic Hudson River, the ideal way to see the sights of Albany. The boat is derived from popular Hudson River Dayliners of an earlier era, which sailed the waters of the Hudson River ferrying passengers to and from ports between Albany and New York City. Afterwards, we’ll enjoy a delicious lunch at the historic Pump Station Restaurant. After lunch, we’ll have a guided tour of the New York State Capitol Complex. Sitting majestically atop Albany’s State Street hill, the New York State Capitol has served as the seat of government for New York since the 1880’s. The building is a marvel of late 19th-century architectural grandeur, built by hand of solid masonry over a period of 32 years. It cost more than $25 million, making it more expensive than the U.S. Capitol.
